- *** Must be chosen from approved academic courses in history/social science, English, advanced mathematics, lab science, foreign language, social science, or visual and performing arts.
- As Woodside is university-preparatory and academically rigorous, students are always encouraged to take more than 220 credits of course work to further prepare themselves for attending competitive universities. In particular, students are encouraged to take AP courses in addition to (or instead of) the regular courses.
- Woodside encourages the students to benefit from Personal Development I to IV (which are offered as 4 semester-long courses), covering topics like College Counseling, Yearbook, SAT Prep, TOEFL/IELTS Prep, Health & Wellness, and other life skills, etc…). Personal Development I through IV (each at 5 credits) are offered over 4 semesters throughout Junior (Grade 11) and Senior (Grade 12) years.
- Honors Diploma Requirements: To get an Honors Diploma, the student must achieve:
(a) A cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
(b) Completion of >= 240 course credits
(c) Minimum of one full year of enrollment at Woodside - Grade Scale:
Pass/Fail (P/F), Audit (AUD), and/or TC (Transfer Credit) grades are not included in the GPA calculation.Regular Course Honors or AP Course A = 4 points A = 5 points B = 3 points B = 4 points C = 2 points C = 3 points D = 1 point D = 2 points F = 0 point F = 0 point - Graduation requirements at Woodside are subject to changes and may be updated from time to time. Any changes made in a given year will only apply to students who are initially enrolled in that year or thereafter. The above Graduation Requirements apply to students who are first enrolled in 2020-2021. Students who started at Woodside before 2020-2021 have the option of graduating under the old (previous) Graduation Requirements or under the new (prevailing) Graduation Requirements.
