Message from the Head of School
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We are delighted to see the familiar faces of our returning students and thrilled to welcome our new students. This year is off to an unconventional start, but we are happy to see close to 100% timely participation in our distance learning classes!
Back to School Night
We are excited for you to learn more about our teachers and our program on Zoom Back to School Night on September 16th. All parents and guardians are urged to attend this evening with your student’s teachers. The evening will begin with a welcome from Head of School Joanne Walsh followed by meetings for individual classes. Please plan to join us! More details about this event will be sent next week.
Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 7th
School will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day, a national U.S. holiday honoring the contributions that workers make to the strength and well-being of our country. Classes will resume at 8:30am on Tuesday, September 8th.
Admissions Virtual Tours
Throughout the school year, but especially in the fall, interested families tour our school to learn about our program here at Woodside. This year our tours will be virtual held on Saturdays in October and November. Please spread the word about our school and let families who are interested know that they can sign up on our website or contact Joanne Walsh directly for more information.
Progress Reports on Wednesday, September 23rd
The first progress reports of the year will be sent home with students on Wednesday, September 23rd. Please let us know if you do not receive your copy.
