Students at Woodside International School are encouraged to express themselves and form their own opinions. The faculty’s focus is on student learning, including developing good study habits and facilitating a respect for the learning process. Students’ different learning styles are taken into consideration when assigning work and giving assessments.
Grades for achievement, effort, and study skills are provided every 6 weeks in order to keep students and families fully informed of student progress and performance. Regular communication between teachers and families is encouraged, and conferences can be scheduled upon request throughout the year. 1-on-1 learning options as well as tutoring are offered to insure that students are able to progress academically.
