Walkathon Friday March 16
This year’s walkathon is raising money for an end-of-year celebration with Sterne School! They have reserved a location at San Francisco’s Verdi Club. We are asking that each family donates $20 to help offset the price of tickets for our students. The Sterne School will provide appetizers and drinks, and there will be a DJ and dancing from 7-10pm. Due to the weather, we will be holding an indoor games day and pizza party instead of walking around Stow Lake.

Our monthly faculty meeting will be held the morning of Tuesday, March 20th. 8:30am classes will be canceled, and students should arrive to school in time for their 9:30am classes.

SF Zoo Field Trip March 7th

Students and teachers had a great day at the SF Zoo on March 7th. The weather turned out to be beautiful, and the animals were very active. We appreciated our encounters with species ranging from flamingos to kangaroos to gorillas!

Student Walkout March 14th

All students and full-time staff participated in the national 17-minute walkout to protest gun violence and promote gun reform. We walked up to 19th Avenue and held signs, which were supported by passers-by. The students were engaged and serious, and we were very proud of their activism.
