Student Information Forms due Friday, May 10

New and returning families need to complete these forms each year: Family Contact Form, Medical Form, Emergency and Off-Campus Form, and Guardianship Form if the student will not live with a parent. Forms were sent home with students on May 3, and Anna Yu has extra copies if you need them at ayu@wissf.org.
Prom Dance Party on Friday, May 10

This is our third year of partnering with Sterne School for our annual Prom Dance Party! The theme is “Once Upon A Time” and the prom will be on Friday, May 10 at 7-10pm at One Kearny Club, with a DJ, food, beverages, and a lovely rooftop terrace. Tickets are $70, or save money by getting 2 tickets for $130. Students can attend with classmates or bring a friend from another school. We hope to see all students there!

Final Exams Review Week on May 13-17

No new material will be taught during Review Week, so that teachers can help students prepare for Final Exams.

Final Exams on May 20-23

Students will receive the Final Exams schedule during Review Week. Beginning May 20, students only need to attend school on the days and times of their exams.

Last Day of School on Thursday, May 23

Spring Grades Mailed on Monday, June 3

Community Newsletter on Friday, June 7

The semi-annual Community Newsletter will be published on Friday, June 7 for our current families, alumni families, and community contacts.

Community Service Requirement of 25 hours for next year
Because we were not able to spend as much time guiding students in finding volunteer opportunities this school year, we are not requiring the full 25 hours completed for 2018-2019, and will count any outside community service toward next year’s requirement. If students have completed outside community service this year, they should complete the Community Service Form and return it to College Counselor Andrea Feeney before summer break, to be counted toward next year’s requirement. You are encouraged to plan now to complete at least 10 hours of outside community service over the summer or next year.

Teacher Lunch Program

Thank you to the parents who have supported our Teacher Lunch Program! We continue to look for volunteers to provide lunch for teachers on Thursdays throughout the semester. We ask that families bring food or money to feed 12 people, half of whom are vegetarian. Please contact Anna Yu at ayu@wissf.org if you are interested in participating. We love our teachers, and they appreciate your support!

Facebook & Instagram
All are encouraged to follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We recently posted photos from the Earth Day Community Service Field Trip to Stern Grove, and the Field Trip to the Maritime Museum.
Thank You!
We appreciate your ongoing support and participation!
