Message from the Head of School

As the holidays approach, we enjoy special times with family and friends, and also think kindly about those for whom life is more difficult. Please read below about our Annual Food Drive for San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.
Semester exams can be one of the most stressful times of the school year for students. Please encourage your child to pace their exam preparation studies during Semester Exam Review Days by using their study schedule. Also, it is always essential for students to be at school, and this is especially true for exam review days. Teachers will be reviewing an entire semester of material in just 90 minutes of class time, and every minute counts! Please ask to see your students’ review packets which they will receive for each exam. Everything on their final exams will come from those review packets.
Holiday Food Drive – Monday, November 18th-Friday, December 13th
Our annual holiday food drive has begun. This is a time for our students and faculty to remember those less fortunate in life, who do not have the privilege of enough food to eat. Please encourage your student to donate non-perishable food in non-glass containers for the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank to help feed people in need. They can bring extra food from home or buy a small bag of groceries. Here are some suggested food items:
Applesauce Granola Bars Crackers
Fruit, canned or dried Herbs and Spices, dried Pasta
Beans, canned Meat and Fish, canned Soup and Vegetables, canned
Cooking Oil Peanut Butter Rice, boxed
Whole Grain Cereal, boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes Nuts
